Working in conjunction with Jarvis Architects, the Goodman's designed this backyard to allow for better access to the outdoors from newly remodeled, elevated interior spaces, sorely missing from this stately and tall Mediterranean, Piedmont home. With multiple landings and patios of colored concrete, flagstone, and crushed granite hugging the four-story rear, leading out from spacious rooms within, the house now feels integrated with the site upon which it sits, allowing for entertainment, birds-eye viewing, peace and play. Honoring the majestic Oak sitting in the middle of the garden, the flow and garden rooms were designed around this part of the canvas already painted.
