It was with great joy that GLD was asked to design this garden, one which they’d had their eye on for years.  A corner lot asking for architectural support in the garden to enhance its beauty.  Bauhaus meets Southwest.  Picking up on details of the home, the desires of their clients, Tim and Lisa created strong structural lines in the garden to balance the wonderful articulation of the building. They replaced a failing wooden fence with a series of staggered stucco walls, with mimicking planters to bring the architecture into the garden while altering the flatness of the site.  Drifts of plants chosen for their drought tolerance and leaf color surround specimens add a calming dimension to the big picture.
